Saturday night. Late entry. Limited time. So we grab some Fast Passes for Space Mountain and head across the park so we can hit another FastPass distribution as soon as our next window opens. But along the way a friend spots the carousel and, with a sigh, we damn the schedule and hop aboard for a spin. You can plan and plan and have tons of expectations. But nothing beats the surprise and delight of improvisation.
We recently had dinner inside The Great Movie Ride at Disney's Hollywood Studios. A full post of photos and the whole story is coming, but for now enjoy a photo I snapped with my iPhone as I was being escorted to a restroom through a backstage corridor.

This is the first year we've had an XMAS tree in our high rise apartment. We never really wanted a traditional one in such a modern space. And when we found this safety orange one we realized we could finally have a tree with a point of view that fit with the surroundings. (more…)
